GETTING HERE

By car
From the Terrace, turn onto Salamanca Road, turn left into Kelburn Parade. The gallery is accessible via Gate 3 which is on the left going up Kelburn Parade just past the overbridge.

Parking
There is no vehicle access via this gate, so park your car in the vicinity and walk from this point. Note that on weekends the public can use the carparks on campus. The nearest is in front of the Hunter Building (turn left just after the corner of Salamanca Road and Kelburn Parade) or adjacent to the Cotton Building (turn left after the roundabout at the top of Kelburn Parade).

On foot
Follow the same directions from the city as outlined above, or take a shorter route up the Allenby Steps (from Willis St turn into Boulcott St, turn left into Allenby Terrace, keep the church on your right and follow the path until it turns into steps). At the top of the steps turn left onto the Terrace and then right onto Salamanca Road, then take the small road that branches to your left past the dairy and go straight ahead up the pedestrian path to the Kelburn Campus. You will arrive at the Student Union, walk past this building and the gallery is on your right.

By bus
From the city No. 17, 18, 22 and 23 buses take you to Kelburn Campus. Check Metlink for timetables and routes www.metlink.org.nz

By cable car
Take the cable car from Lambton Quay. Get off at the University stop. Walk along Salamanca Road to Kelburn Parade. Walk up Kelburn Parade to Gate 3 (after the overbridge). Turn left into Gate 3, walk past the Old Kirk Building. The gallery is on your left adjacent to the Student Union Building.
