Talking Heads

Dane Mitchell introduces Letters and Documents

Recorded during the installation of his exhibition, Dane Mitchell talks about his Post Hoc Relic and the early letters and documents he has brought together to contextual it, finding surprising connections between his early student works and the ten-kilometres of printed paper that was one of the tangible remainders of Post Hoc, his 2019 Venice Biennale exhibition.

Ken Friedman in conversation with Philip Dadson

This conversation brings together two old acquaintances, American-born Swedish Fluxus artist Ken Friedman and New Zealand’s highly-regarded intermedia artist Philip Dadson who reflect on their shared commitments to the anti-materialist and collaborative ethos associated with Fluxus that underpins their six decades of art making, which includes their joint contributions to Dadson’s 1971 Earthworks, a ‘composition’ for film and audiotape realised simultaneously at fifteen locations across the globe.
