Become a Supporter of the Adam Art Gallery
In May 2010 the gallery launched its Adam Art Gallery Programme Development Fund.
This will be used to:
- Produce high quality, well-researched publications and stage lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences that generate critical thinking and new knowledge
- Include international artists, curators and writers in our activities to stimulate local discourses and to extend our reach as a world-class university art gallery
- Enable us to keep up to date with what is going on nationally and internationally
You can contribute to this Fund by becoming a supporter at a level that suits you.
As all donations are made through the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation which is a charitable trust, your contribution is eligible for a one third charitable gift taxation rebate.
Supporter
$500 per year for a minimum of 3 years
- Benefits include invitations to all exhibition openings
- Advance notice of public programmes and special events annually including our Supporters’ end-of-year party
- A copy of Victoria’s Art: A University Collection when you join us
- 20% discount on all Adam Art Gallery publications
- 10% discount at Vic Books, Victoria University’s bookstore
- 20% discount on film tickets at the New Zealand Film Archive’s Wellington Mediaplex.
Advocate
$1000 per year for a minimum of 3 years
Benefits same as Supporters +
- special opportunities to meet artists/ curators/ collectors, visit exhibitions, etc
- one free copy of selected Adam Art Gallery publications produced while you are an Advocate
Partner*
$2500 per year for a minimum of 3 years
Benefits same as Advocates +
- special association with an aspect of the programme (with acknowledgement in all material relating to the project)
Patron*
$5000 and above per year for a minimum of 3 years
Benefits same as for Partners +
- exclusive event/tour with the Director
- one opportunity per year to use AAG as a venue free of charge
- invitations to special events at VUW
