Art History and the Adam Art Gallery welcome donations of archival material relevant to their work to add to the resources of the Research Centre. These consist of slides, digital images, DVDs, videotapes, books, catalogues, journals, Art History and Museum and Heritage Studies theses and research essays, and ephemera which have largely been gifted to Art History.

We are very grateful for the generous donation of books, catalogues, journals and ephemera collected by Jim Barr and Mary Barr, Luit Bieringa, Gordon H Brown, Ann Calhoun, Errol Clark, Melvin Day, and John Mansfield Thomson, amongst others.

Art History Library and Research Centre also holds the gifted archive of Paul and Ann McNamara of McNamara Gallery in Wanganui. This includes press clippings, exhibition invites, posters, and ephemera concerning New Zealand artists from the 1970s to the present day.
